Shirley J. Davis is a freelance writer and public speaker busying herself with the task of spreading truthful and honest information about the effects of childhood trauma on adults, and dissociative identity disorder (DID). She is a survivor of severe abuse, and lives with DID herself, and has endured thirty years of therapy to help her overcome her past and gain a brighter future.
