Leah Holleran is an avid lover of all types of storytelling. As a professional in the performing arts, she has devised, co-written, and performed new works in Philadelphia (where she has lived for the past 6 years) and across the country on national tours (49 out of 50 states—you’re next, Alaska). She has acted professionally off-Broadway, on film, and with local children’s theatre companies. Presently, Leah and her husband Aaron are touring their original puppet show, The Dragon and the Wanderer
, across Europe. As a writer, Leah creates scripts used in corporate training workshops, and has always been a fiction writer at heart. She is currently working on a YA sci-fi novel that deals with mental illness, grief, and guilt. Leah also teaches ballroom dance in elementary, middle, and high schools, and trains in the circus aerial arts.

Leah Holleran’s mystery illness was as common as common could be: anxiety and depression, but she and her family didn’t know it. Leah eventually solved the mystery of her mental health challenge, but not before struggling with self-harm and the loss of her best friend to an overdose.
